Happy Friday!

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart

Summer Makeover

I bought these from a very good friend who was moving out-of-state a few years back and finally got them out of storage to freshen them up for our living room. The first time I saw them, I knew I wanted them. Loved the shape of them, the rustic country look, and knew I would paint them. At the time I was going to use red on the legs and base, but once I got started I knew it had to be a creamy white with a dark wax finish.

Let the sanding, painting and staining begin:

And tah dah….the grand reveal. (I forgot to take pics during the dark wax process):

I’m really happy with the final result! I learned a few things along the way, and hopefully nobody will be able to see my “lessons” in person.

I’ve already got two more side tables in storage waiting for their turn.

Hope your summer was eventful and fun!
